Important Update: Our Summer Camp Has Been Cancelled
It is with real disappointment that we share that the DMV Dream Summer Camp will not take place this summer.
Our camp was built around indoor access at our Prince George's Police Athletic League (PAL) partner location. That space was meant to serve as our before and after care area, our STEM and academic enrichment lab, and most importantly a place for campers to come inside and cool off during the day. We recently learned that the indoor space will not be available to us, and with camp set to begin so soon, we do not have the time or the equipment to safely run a full day program outdoors in the summer heat.
Why we made this decision
This call was made entirely out of caution for your children's safety and comfort. Asking athletes ages 8 to 14 to spend a full day on a turf field in the late June and July heat, with no reliable indoor space to escape it, is not something we are willing to do. Your children's wellbeing comes before everything else, and we would rather make a hard decision now than put any camper at risk.
Refunds
Every family who registered will receive a full refund of all deposits and payments. You do not need to take any action. Refunds will be processed over the coming days and returned through your original payment method.
